Languedoc-Roussillon
DIVEM, a Grand Cru from Languedoc
Have you ever tried DIVEM?
Have you ever heard of the Domaine de la Grange des Pères? Perhaps even already tasted this legendary wine?
When I tasted DIVEM for the first time, I felt the same emotion in my glass!
DIVEM is a red wine.
An amazing velvety nectar.
A whirlwind of spicy flavors of crazy complexity.
A heady Grenache of infinite length.
DIVEM is the baby of Gil Morrot, working 4.5 hectares of vines in the village of Montpeyroux.
The first vintage was born in 2000.
The vineyard is at the heart of the best terroirs that Languedoc can offer. A place where legendary estates have attracted the spotlight of wine lovers since the end of the 20th century.
These great terroirs are located 30km North-West of Montpellier, near the village of Aniane, in the Hérault Valley and in the Terrasses du Larzac vineyard.
And think about this: Languedoc used to have a sulphurous reputation for producing poor quality wines: high yields and intensive production! A new generation has understood the potential of these terroirs and has worked hard to rebuild the best plots of vines.
Anyway, back to DIVEM.
If you like the great wines of Languedoc, rich without heaviness, solar and complex...
If you are a bit of a visionary and couldn't afford the budget for a Grange des Pères...
So go for DIVEM!
And don't be too late. The production of the 2020 vintage did not exceed 6000 bottles. In other words, nothing at all...
Who are the lucky ones who will soon be able to taste this nectar?
Just ask my happy few clients!
