Terms and Conditions – Wine Dinners

1. Event Overview
The Wine Dinners (“the Events”) are private cultural and gastronomic experiences hosted by Alexis Caraux (Millesiwine, France).
Two sessions will take place in December 2025 near San Francisco, California (exact location disclosed one month prior to the Events).
Each dinner is strictly limited to 10 guests to preserve the intimate nature of the experience.
2. Nature of the Event
These dinners are private tasting and cultural gatherings, designed to share knowledge and appreciation of French wines.
The host’s participation is non-remunerated on U.S. territory.
All wines served have been sold and invoiced beforehand by Millesiwine (France) and imported into the United States through a licensed importer in full compliance with federal and state regulations.
No commercial transaction or sale takes place on U.S. soil.
3. Eligibility
Guests must be 21 years of age or older.
By booking, you confirm you are of legal drinking age in the United States and agree to consume alcohol responsibly.
4. Reservation & Payment
Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Full payment of the wine purchase is required to confirm participation in the dinner experience.
Wine purchases and associated dinner participation are non-transferable without prior written approval from the organizer.
Payments made through the website are processed by Millesiwine (France) and correspond solely to the purchase of the wines served during the event.
This transaction is therefore a wine purchase made in France, not a payment for a service rendered in the United States.
The tasting experience and dinner animation in the U.S. are offered free of charge to guests who have purchased the wines.
5. Cancellation Policy
By the guest:
Cancellations made up to three weeks before the Events (until November 11, 2025) will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made between two and three weeks before (November 12–18, 2025) will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than two weeks before (from November 19, 2025 onwards) are non-refundable.
By the organizer:
If the dinner must be canceled, guests will receive a full refund of their booking fee.
The organizer shall not be liable for travel or accommodation costs incurred by the guest.
6. Program & Wines
The selection of wines and the dinner menu are curated exclusively by the organizer.
Substitutions may occur in case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., corked or damaged bottles).
The organizer reserves the right to adjust the program while maintaining its quality and exclusivity.
All wines served during the Event are included in the reservation fee.
Any additional beverages outside the planned program (extra bottles, digestifs, etc.) are at the guest’s own expense.
7. Health & Dietary Requirements
Guests are responsible for informing the organizer of any allergies or intolerances no later than two weeks before the Event.
The organizer will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special diets if notified within this timeframe.
The organizer shall not be held liable for any adverse reaction related to food or wine consumption.
8. Liability
Participation is at the guest’s own risk.
The organizer shall not be held responsible for personal injury, property damage, or loss occurring before, during, or after the Event.
Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the venue.
9. Privacy
By booking, you consent to providing personal information (name, email, responses to a short questionnaire) solely for the purpose of organizing the Event.
All data is processed in accordance with French and European data protection laws (GDPR) and will not be shared with third parties.
10. Photography & Media
Photographs may be taken during the Event for communication or promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in any media, please inform the organizer in writing prior to the Event.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California (USA) regarding local liability,
and the laws of France for transactions and payments processed by Millesiwine.
