Terms and Conditions - Secret Wine Dinner

1. Event Details

This wine dinner (“the Event”) is a one-time private experience hosted by Alexis Caraux.

  • Location: A private venue near Palo Alto, California (exact location disclosed one month before the Event).

  • Date and time: 2025, December the 3rd.

  • Number of seats: strictly limited to 10 guests.

2. Eligibility
  • Guests must be 21 years of age or older.

  • By booking, you confirm you are of legal drinking age in the United States.

3. Reservation & Payment
  • Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Full payment is required to confirm your reservation.

  • Reservations are non-transferable without prior written approval from the organizer.

4. Cancellation Policy
  • By the guest:

    • Cancellations made up to three weeks before the Event (until November 12, 2025) will receive a full refund.

    • Cancellations made between two and three weeks before the Event (November 13–19, 2025) will receive a 50% refund.

    • Cancellations made less than two weeks before the Event (from November 20, 2025 onwards) are non-refundable.

  • By the organizer:

    • In the unlikely event the dinner must be canceled, guests will receive a full refund of their booking fee.

    • The organizer shall not be liable for any additional costs incurred by the guest (e.g. travel, accommodation).

5. Program & Wines
  • The selection of wines and the dinner menu are curated exclusively by the organizer. Substitutions may occur in case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g. bottle damage, corked wine).

  • The organizer reserves the right to modify the program if necessary, while maintaining the quality and exclusivity of the experience.

  • All wines served during the dinner are included in the reservation fee. Any additional beverages outside the program — such as extra bottles, digestifs, or other drinks — are at the guest’s own expense.

6. Health & Safety
  • Guests are responsible for their own health conditions and dietary restrictions.

  • Any food allergies or intolerances must be communicated to the organizer no later than two weeks before the Event.

  • The organizer will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary needs if informed within this timeframe.

  • The organizer is not liable for adverse reactions related to food or wine consumption.

7. Liability
  • The organizer shall not be held responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or loss occurring before, during, or after the Event.

  • Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the Event location.

8. Privacy
  • By booking, you consent to providing personal information (name, email, questionnaire responses) necessary for the organization of the Event.

  • This information will be used solely for the purpose of the Event and will not be shared with third parties.

9. Photography & Media
  • Photos may be taken during the Event for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in any media, please inform the organizer in writing prior to the Event.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California, United States.
